Blazer Glory

Blazers are always going to be a key item in every girls wardrobe as they are ideal for dressing up a casual outfit or making an otherwise smart outfit ooze with laid back luxe.

Whilst in the last few seasons the neutral blazer in ivory or soft pink were everywhere thanks to Chloe and Stella McCartney, this season bright blazers are the go to piece to inject some colour into your look and are perfect for clashing with other brights.

Dion Lee at Net-a-Porter has designed a beautiful poppy red version of the blazer and also a soft, ice-blue tuxedo jacket. The red jacket would look fab teamed with some printed city shorts and will carry you right through summer and into the winter months whilst the blue version would look great against a summery, cream or white silk dress.

Matches is the place to go to grab a bargain in the form of an orange Freda double breasted blazer, reduced to £144 from £480 which also comes in rich navy shade too.

Steven Alan also has a bright orange version if you want to be sure to stand out from the crowd.

For cheaper alternatives to the bright blazer, Zara has a great range to tempt you. The pink version with the gold buttons is my favourite from the high street.

This green version, again from Zara would also be a fab addition to any wardrobe.

River Island also has a great selection to chose from in a range of colours for just £34.99.
