Stylish Dressing for Boys...

Selected 3 Paris chinos £22 (

Last year, I styled a really fun menswear shoot in The Buff Club in Glasgow with the gorgeous menswear model Marco-Emilio Di Mario from Colours Agency ( and fabulous photographer Laura McKinnon (

For the shoot, I chose some classic separates from USC in Glasgow including checked shirts, skinny jeans, chinos, tailoring and knitwear and added some fun accessories such as bow ties, glasses, braces and cravats to pull all the looks together and give it a contemporary edge.

I have so many men's accessories from Burton in my styling kit and they always come in really handy on photoshoots such as this one.

I added a red bow tie to pick out the slight red line in the checked shirt and paired it with some amazing bright mustard chinos.

This simple grey blazer by Firetrap is definitely a classic wardrobe essential for any fashion forward fella...

A quirky polka dot sweater is perfect for layering over a simple shirt and giving it a retro twist!

The colour blocking trend is not just for girls you know! Red on red is always a winner and the chinos and checked shirt look really modern whilst the cravat, glasses and side shed add a little old-school glamour...

I always think crew neck jumpers look better with a shirt underneath and this really simple look is super stylish!

The nautical trend will never go out of style this simple red and white stripe t-shirt will look great in the summer.

This jacket has some great detailing and I love the boxy shape of it when buttoned right up with a collar underneath.

For a Mad Men inspired style, just add some braces, a bow tie, glasses and knowing glint your eye that Don Draper himself would be proud of! ;)

With thanks to USC, Buchanan Street, Glasgow ( and The Buff Club, Bath Lane, Glasgow.

I took some behind the scenes photographs for the shoot. I always lay out all the outfits the night before a shoot to get the looks clear in my head... they obviously look a million times better on Marco though!
